The completion of the basic education – JSS 1-3 focuses on completing the fundamentals of basic education and introducing students to secondary education (SS 1-3) to acquire necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes for the development of the self and the nation, promote love for and loyalty to the nation, promote harmonious co-existence among the peoples of the country, develop mentally, socially, morally, physically and spiritually, enhance understanding and respect for own and other people’s cultures and their place in contemporary society, enhance understanding and appreciation of interrelationships among nations, promote positive environmental and health practices, build a firm foundation for further education and training, develop ability for enquiry, critical thinking and rational judgment. Other objectives include:

• Develop into a responsible and socially well adjusted person
• Promote acceptance and respect for all persons
• Enhance enjoyment in learning
• Identify individual talents and develop them
• Build a foundation for technological and industrial development
• Develop into a self-disciplined individual who appreciates work and manages time properly
  
  

OUR TARGET BEFORE COMPLETING SECONDARY EDUCATION

The program is designed to achieve the following objectives before a student completes secondary education:

• Understand who is Allah
• Learn and understand the complete biography of prophet Muhammad (SAW) and apply the lessons in real life
• Show good manners to people and be obedient to parents
• Recite Qur’an fluently with melodious voice
• Speak fluent English and Arabic in public.
• Take and get excellent grades in all relevant national and international examinations
• Complete 1st round memorization of the Qur’an with Mushaf (for the ones chosen by Allah)
• Complete 2nd round memorization of the Qur’an with slates (Allo)
• Understand 85% vocabulary of the Qur’an
• Learn Tafseer of at least the last 10 Surahs from Suratul Feel to Nas, Suratul Fatihah, Ayatul Kursiyy and Amanar-Rasul
• Memorize, learn, understand, and apply the 99 names of Allah
• Understand the biography of at least the 10 companions that were promised Paradise
• Obtain an Ijazah (Qura’anic license of authority connecting to Allah)
• Memorize at least 100 Ahadeeth from the traditions of the prophet (SAW)
  
  

We also expose students to various sporting and other extra-curricular activities including football, volley ball, table tennis, debate club and press club among others.
